On one adventure, Pixie was recruited to view of a play about a god named Tyr.  Not knowing much about religion in general, Pixie decided to attend.  In return for attending, each party member was to receive a gem!  "How pretty," she thought.

After a strange episode of time traveling and actually meeting this god (still a strange thing in her mind), Pixie returned home.  There, everyone received a gem.  A strange-looking creature (Pixie thinks it was a dwarf or something...) named Stenthar Lockcrusher approached her.  He saw her love of wood sprites and exquisite items.  So, he offered to cut the gem into the shape of a Sprite.

Unfortunately, things didn't turn out as he had planned (2e: he rolled an 18 and his skill was 17).  So, Pixie named her new friend Dixie.  Granted, she's not as cute as Pixie's other friends, but she's loved just the same!
